Over £2000 raised for Mary's Meals on BWH Feast Day
Blessed William Howard Feast Day Fundraiser
Our sixth form leaders - Reece (Head Boy), Mia (Head Girl) and deputies Zack and Eve, bravely took on the task of organising our special BWH feast day this year, unfazed by all the complications of social distancing and bubbles that they had to consider. They really excelled themselves and must be congratulated for organising such a great day for the whole school to enjoy.
The total raised on the day is a very impressive £2,352 which will go towards the school’s 2020 for Mary’s Meals campaign.
Each year group bubble got to visit the hall where sixth formers were selling treats such as freshly made popcorn, cakes, drinks, snacks and running fun activities. The school took part in a whole school mass, via video link and there were lots of activities held in form groups, from Twister to Taskmaster, cooking to making and flying paper aeroplanes. It was quite a way to round off the half term.
Thanks to everyone who helped out and took part.
