Music students in top 10 in the world!
Our music department uses Teaching Gadget, a website full of music theory games. Before Easter, Teaching Gadget ran a keyboard competition where students had to identify as many notes on the keyboard as they could in one minute. The competition was open to schools across UK, Europe, Asia and USA and BWH finished in an incredible 9th place!
There were over 45,000 entrants and over 200,000 attempts at the game, so our students did very well. A particularly big 'well done' to Year 7 students; Imogen Slater who scored 82, Scarlet Avison who scored 81, Louise Lander - 77 and Tilly Henson-Beaty - 73! Also, in Year 8; Bromley Smith - 72, Lucy Rudman - 72 Christopher Allen - 70 and Malachi Balasch- 69.
