Economics Students join Brexit Debate in Parliament
This week Y13 Economics students from Blessed William Howard and Painsley Sixth Form and came together to visit The Houses of Parliament.
The students had the rare opportunity watch a full house of MPs live in Parliament including the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, debate the second reading of the Brexit deal bill. This negotiation will change the future for international trade in Britain.
The students took part in a legislation workshop and a visit to the Bank of England, as well as enjoying some free time taking in the sights of London.
The Business & Economics department is looking forward to planning the trip again for next year’s students as this was such a successful, aspiring and educational visit.
